Getting up close and personal with the flora of the desert is not an easy task. When I explore with my camera, I always get low and down and tilt the camera angle up toward the sky. I love the experience of seeing things from different perspectives, literally. In this painting there lies a tension on the horizon. We are close to nature yet there is always something just beyond our reach as we head toward the sunset.
