"Abstracted One" Original Painting

"Abstracted One" is an 11x14 inch acrylic painting on a 1 inch depth birch wood panel.

Cactus paddles can be so many different colors in nature like various greens, magentas and even purples. They really excite my imagination. I created this painting through thin applications of acrylic paint on the background which allows many rich and saturated colors to show when you get nice and up close. The vibrant energy of pink and orange permeate the natural round elements that together create a formal contrast resulting in this exciting abstract painting.
