"Three Above the Many" Original Painting

"Three Above the Many" is an 11x14 inch acrylic painting on a 1 inch depth canvas.

While making this painting, the exploration and play led to this composition of 3 giants in a field of tiny cactus paddles with a very far off horizon in the distance. These giants could be the "Pachycereus" aka Mexican fence post cactus, protecting and holding or as the title suggests, lording over them. There is a watery flowy-ness to the orange tinged sky, playful little cacti bordering the bottom edge and luscious purple cactus paddles in between. A vibrant and playful composition set against a title full of tension.
